My family has always survived on two incomes. My husband earns $9 per hour through LEVI. I have always earned more than my husband. I have suffered from Epilepsy since my twenties. My seizures have become so frequent, I no longer drive. I eventually lost my job. I have filed for disability, but this process takes so long, we have lost our vehicles. Our Home. We can't afford my medications. Our children are going with out. Christmas is truly non-existant at our home. We have sold anything of value to keep us a float. I don't know where else to turn. If it weren't for foodstamps we would starve. I even tried to apply for welfare. I'm told my husband's income is too much. We net less than $900 per month to support the five of us. Where is a family to turn for help. Our credit is now in shambles. I just want to keep the electric on and provide some sort of christmas for my kids. What do I do?
